Dr. Vinod Naik is a distinguished surgical leader with over 35 years of experience in the mastery of Minimal Access Surgery. As a world-class expert in Laparoscopic and Thoracoscopic procedures, Dr. Naik has dedicated his career to combining advanced surgical technology with a deeply rooted philosophy of empathy and ethical patient care.
Currently serving as an Honorary Consultant at the prestigious KEM Hospital, Pune, Dr. Naik is also a respected Post-Graduate Teacher for DNB, mentoring the next generation of surgical specialists.
Dr. Vinod Naik specializes in advanced general surgery covering a wide range of surgical fields including urogenital surgery, head & neck surgery, thoracic surgery, abdominal and pelvic surgery, anorectal procedures, and limb-related surgical conditions. He is highly experienced in both open and minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopic and thoracoscopic (VATS) procedures, ensuring safe, precise, and effective treatment outcomes.
His areas of expertise include complex head & neck surgeries such as thyroidectomy (open, endoscopic, transoral, and transaxillary), parotidectomy, submandibular gland excision, oral cancer surgeries, laryngopharyngectomy, and excision of tumors including paraganglioma and carotid body tumors. He is also skilled in thoracic procedures like VATS and mediastinoscopy.
Dr. Naik has extensive experience in abdominal wall reconstruction (AWR), laparoscopic and open hernia repair, gastrointestinal and pelvic surgeries, and advanced anorectal procedures for conditions like haemorrhoids and fistula. His expertise also includes management of diabetic foot, vascular malformations, soft tissue tumors, thoracic outlet syndrome, and complex acute and chronic wounds.
Additionally, he performs procedures such as tracheostomy, lymph node biopsy, cyst excision, and reconstructive surgeries for corrosive injuries of the aerodigestive tract using advanced surgical techniques, ensuring comprehensive patient care and optimal recovery.
